Abstract
•Strategies to stimulate scholarship were implemented at three teaching-intensive colleges of pharmacy for a five-year period.•Sustained increases in scholarly productivity and engagement were observed across metrics.•The most robust growth occurred in grantsmanship and the number of faculty and student contributors to scholarly works.•Key factors included faculty development, mentoring, commitments to infrastructure and resources, and student engagement.
