REVISTA DE LA FEDERACION ARGENTINA DE CARDIOLOGIA(2020)
Abstract
Acute aortic syndromes encompass a constellation of overlapping, life-threatening anatomical and clinical entities, including classic acute aortic dissection, intramural hematoma, and penetrating atherosclerotic aortic ulcer. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment of these medical conditions is of vital importance. Objective: to report the two-time endovascular resolution of a large descending aortic ulcer and a dissection of the abdominal aorta involving the visceral and iliac trunks, in an asymptomatic patient.
