摘要

•Pseduowolastonite is formed from calcium and silicon oxides during laser treatment.•An in situ reaction occurs from the heat supplied by the laser beam.•The pulsed laser generates a well-integration of the ceramic material on the Ti6Al4V.•Bioactivity assessment of samples showed that a Ca, P-rich compound was formed.
