摘要
We studied abundance and biological aspects of Pterourus multicaudata in black cherry (Prunus serotina Ehrn.) at two locations in the State of Mexico. The duration of the biological cycle of P. multicaudata was 96.83 +/- 6.66 days, and larvae had five larval instars. Using Pearson correlation analysis, environmental variables such as temperature and humidity were evaluated for their effect on the abundance of eggs and larvae. Results show marked tendency toward positive correlations between the climatic variables with eggs and larvae.
