The Rising and Challenge of Social Enterprise in China

Social enterprise is a booming phenomenon globally and a rising star worldwide. After analyzing the reason of "market failure" from economic side and "governmental failure" with the management approach, this paper points out the roles the social enterprises play, analyzing the challenges the social enterprises face, and finally comes to the conclusion that social enterprise is of importance for further academic study as well as the practice.
