Structural and Critical Behavior Near the Ferromagnetic-Paramagnetic Phase Transition in La0.6Pr0.1Sr0.3Mn1−xRuxO3 (x = 0.00, 0.05 and 0.15) Perovskites

•X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements were used to investigate the effects of Dy doping on the physical properties of La0.6Pr0.1Sr0.3Mn1−xRuxO3.•The nature of the ferromagnetic phase transition and the critical exponents of heat capacity near the Curie temperature have been studied.•Experimental results revealed that all samples underwent a second-order phase transition.•For a high amount of Ru, these exponents belong to a different universality class and are close to the Heisenberg model for x=0.05 and x=0.15sample.
