Methotrexate for Polymyalgia Rheumatica

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The objective of this review is to assess the benefits and harms of methotrexate for patients with PMR in terms of the following major outcomes: disease relapse, sustained discontinuation of corticosteroids, time to disease remission, physical function, glucocorticoid‐related adverse events, short term serious adverse effects, and withdrawals due to adverse events.
