Mixing by internal waves. Li and Be abundance dependence on spectral type, age and rotation
ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY OF THE PACIFIC CONFERENCE SERIES(2000)
Abstract
The boundary convection/stratification is disturbed by turbulent eddies arriving to the bottom of the convective region. These perturbations generate internal waves that propagate in the stellar interior. The random velocity field in the radiative interior has associated a diffusion process. We present here the predictions of this transport process for the lithium and beryllium abundance in PopI stars.
