摘要

•Scientific analysis was carried out first time on the ‘Csákberény group’ ceramics.•Most of the examined pots appeared to be local.•One vessel contained eclogite fragments, indicating more distant place of manufacture.•The results indicating migration of craftsmen into the Avar khaganate.
