Contraception Decision Aids to Improve Care and Effective Method Use

Objectives This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: This protocol reports the rationale and methods for a systematic review of contraception decision aids for improving care and effective method use: Primary objective Examine the effectiveness of decision aids when used in contraception counselling, both on contraceptive choice and use. Secondary objectives Compare the effectiveness of clinic‐based and out‐of‐clinic interventions. Determine whether the effectiveness of decision aids is associated with socioeconomic status.
