Abstract
The high-cycle fatigue properties and fracture mechanism of friction stir welded joint of TA5 titanium alloy were investigated. The failure position and fracture morphology of the joint are analyzed. Combined with the microstructure and texture characteristics of the fracture position, the mechanisms of fatigue fracture of friction stir welded joint of titanium alloy is revealed, which provides reference for improvement of fatigue properties.
