摘要
This paper presents the virtual synchronous control (VSync) with adaptive damping and inertia for a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind turbine (WT) connected with the grid. The proposed control provides inertia regulation under transient conditions. The VSync method incorporates the swing equation as a synchronous generator (SG), which aids in synchronizing the DFIG-WT without needing a phase-locked loop (PLL). The adaptive damping and inertia help to enhance the rate of change of frequency (RoCOF) and frequency nadir. A comparative study between the proposed control, constant parameter control (CPC), and adaptive inertia control (AIC) is performed. The simulations are carried out in MATLAB/Simpower system to demonstrate the superiority of the frequency regulation for the proposed control.
