Experimental Study on Myocardial Ultrastructural Remodeling in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats

To investigate the effect of myocardial ultrastructural remodeling in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR), and to analyze its target and pathological mechanism. Healthy rats in control group were selected for routine feeding. The spontaneously hypertensive rats were in the observation group. Each group had 30 rats. Two weeks later, the heart was removed and the myocardial ultrastructure was observed under electron microscope. The heart weight / body weight ratio, heart rate (HR) / blood pressure (SBP), myocardial hydroxyproline and collagen content, and the concentration of cardiac angiotension II (AngII) were compared. Compared with the control group, the heart injury of the observation group increased significantly, the ultrastructural damage of the myocardium of the observation group was obvious under the electron microscope, the myocardial hypertrophy, myofilament dissolution, mitochondrial damage were serious, the heart weight / body mass index increased, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (SBP) were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05) Compared with the control group, the concentration of Ang II in the observation group increased significantly (P < 0.05). The myocardial damage is serious, cardiac hypertrophy, dilation, heart rate (HR) / blood pressure (SBP), myocardial hydroxyproline, collagen and cardiac angiotension II (AngII) concentration are all increased in SHR rats, which may provide important clinical application data and evidence support for the mechanism research, diagnosis and treatment of SHR. Compared with the control group, the cardiac angiotension II (AngII) concentration of the observation group significantly increases, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05);
