On day 4, her ptosis and horizontal eye movements had apparently recovered. One month later, her vertical eye movements had also recovered completely. Figure S2. Gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging findings. The right oculomotor nerve near the midbrain was enhanced by gadolinium at the time of diagnosis, but with reduced enhancement 6 months later. At recurrence, enhancement of right oculomotor nerve was similar to that of 7 months ago.
