摘要
NPK trial with different levels of NPK on wheat variety KT-2000 was conducted in the agroclimatic conditions of Kohat. Randomized complete block design was used with five different levels of NPK i.e. 0-0-0, 30-30-0, 60-30-0, 60-60-30 and 90-60-30 kg/ha repeated three times. A composite soil sample was analyzed for fertility assessment. The site soil was strongly calcareous (24.50 % CaCO3) and heavy (clayey) in nature. pH and electrical conductivity (7.32, 0.17 dS/m) was normal. Nitrogen and phosphorus is deficient while potassium is sufficient in the site soil. Results revealed that maximum height (104.1 cms) was observed with NPK @ 60-60-30. On the basis of yield data, maximum yield (5667 kg/ha) was recorded with NPK @ 60-60-30. It was concluded that NPK @ 60-60-30 kg/ha gave the maximum and economic yield of wheat (KT-2000). Thus NPK @ 60-60-30 kg/ha is recommended to get the economic yield of wheat variety KT-2000 under the agro-climatic conditions of Kohat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
