High-resolution Observations of the Solar Photosphere, Chromosphere, and Transition Region

NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) provides high resolutionobservations of the solar atmosphere through UV spectroscopy and imaging. Sincethe launch of IRIS in June 2013, we have conducted systematic observationcampaigns in coordination with the Swedish 1-m Solar Telescope (SST) on LaPalma. The SST provides complementary high-resolution observations of thephotosphere and chromosphere. The SST observations include spectro-polarimetricimaging in photospheric Fe I lines and spectrally-resolved imaging in thechromospheric Ca II 8542 A, H-alpha, and Ca II K lines. We present a databaseof co-aligned IRIS and SST datasets that is open for analysis to the scientificcommunity. The database covers a variety of targets including active regions,sunspots, plage, quiet Sun, and coronal holes.
