Infrared Image Generation Method Based on Visible Light Remote Sensing Image

To obtain infrared images more conveniently, a method for constructing a wide range of infrared scenes based on visible light remote sensing images and acquiring infrared image is proposed. Visible images are divided into different material region by superpixel segmentation and manual adjustment. According to different material types, four types of heat balance equation models are used to predict the temperature of surface materials under different conditions and calculate their radiant energy. Based on the OSG engine, a large-scale infrared scene is reconstructed. The atmospheric transmission effect is considered, infrared image is generated by using ray tracing. Experiments show that the material partitioning method can improve the efficiency, and the temperature prediction value is more accurate. The infrared large-scale scenes obtained by the infrared texture modulation are rich in details and high in realism, and the infrared images at various angles can be easily obtained by using ray tracing.
