Dip Coating: A New Dip Coating Method Using Supporting Liquid for Forming Uniformly Thick Layers on Serpentine 3D Substrates (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 24/2019)
Advanced Materials Interfaces(2019)
摘要
In article number 1901485, Joonwon Kim and co-workers propose a new dip coating method to fabricate uniformly thick layers covering the entire surface of a serpentine 3D substrate by using a uniquely designed supporting liquid that provides an immiscible, density-matched, and interfacial-tension-minimized liquid phase condition. This new dip coating method can create a vascular replica (i.e., a freestanding hollow tubular structure) with a similar layer thickness and luminal diameter to that of major cerebral arteries.
