Abstract
In this article authors present an all-in-one (AIO) FR4 scanner. Optical filters with 45 degrees angle of incidence (AOI) as well as a photodetector are mounted on the surface of an electromagnetic actuated FR4 scanner. The dichroic mirror, optical filters, the scan lens, the tube lens as well as scanners in a conventional multiphoton microscope are replaced by an AIO FR4 scanner placed on the back focal plane of a customized objective lens featuring small dimensions, low fabrication cost and a large field of view. The AIO FR4 scanner plays a critical role on very low cost (VLC) multiphoton microscopes.
