摘要

•Proteinase K catalyses the degradation of PLA very efficiently.•The formation of the degradation product leads to the denaturation of the enzyme.•A model is proposed for the quantitative description of the kinetics of degradation and denaturation.•Both denaturation and degradation accelerate with increasing CNC content.
