摘要
Purpose: The aim of this presentation is to describe three cases (20-50 yr) of Gullo Syndrome, which, surprisingly reflect an unexpected laboratory finding characterized by a significant increase over control values of pancreatic enzymes, such as: amylasemia, pancreatic isoamylasemia and lipasemia. Gullo has shown that this entity may present with a familial distribution. The “pancreatogram” proposed by us, essentially and amplified oral glucose tolerance test that measure in each sample, besides glycemia and insulinemia, amylasemia, pancreatic isoamylasemia, lipasemia and calcemia, put in evidence, in four cases of healthy women, that were tested in order to be included in the control series, high values of amylasemia, pancreatic isoamylasemia and lipasemia. A thorough physical and laboratory studies did not disclose any abnormality. Gullo has shown that this peculiar secretory expression persists through time and, besides, that the hyperenzymemia can have a familial distribution. When this condition is identified, the subject”s immediate family should be studied to see whether other members have similar alteration, in which case they can be advised of the benign nature of the anomaly, thus avoiding future concern and expense.
