Australian Single-Centre Outcome of Type-A Aortic Dissection Repairs Spanning 10 Years

Purpose: Type-A aortic dissection is a devastating condition that carries a high mortality if not managed emergently, estimated to be at 50% at 48 hours if left untreated. This study described experience as a high-volume centre managing acute Type-A dissections in South Australia, and patient outcomes over the last 10 years.
