Tacrolimus Monotherapy in Recipients of Liver Transplant: A Single-Center Experience

•A monotherapy immunosuppression regime is ideal for recipients of liver transplantation (LT), to minimize adverse effects of immunosuppressive drugs.•However, the optimal timing post-LT for conversion to monotherapy is not well established.•The initiation of tacrolimus monotherapy immunosuppression post-LT at 6 months is safe and is not associated with increased rates of post-LT complications.
