摘要
The worldwide older adult population continues to grow at an unprecedented rate with 8.5% of people (617 million) now aged 65 years and over. A recent report predicted that this percentage would increase to nearly 17% (1.6 billion) by 2050 [1]. This expanding older adult population reflects a great achievement associated with improvements in modern healthcare, however it is linked to a steady increase in cancer incidence with advanced age, which has implications across the survivorship trajectory [2].
