Blade vibration study by spectral analysis of tip-timing signals with OMP algorithm

•To enforce the sparsity estimations of spectral components in order to reduce aliasing. The algorithm used is the Block-OMP.•To provide low computational time regarding other tip-timing methods.•To exploit the rotation speed variations to increase the observation windows lengths.•The structured sparsity model provides an accurate representation of the spectrum.
