The paper presents issues related to the use of elements of modern Internet technologies for the development of measurement and control systems. Issues related to the specificity of their operation and use of WWW servers and websites for presenting the status of remotely supervised devices are discussed. As an example of the practical use of internet technologies, a system of supervising the operation of the energy measurement and protection CZIP device manufactured by Relpol SA is presented.
