Formyl peptide receptors 1-3 and annexin 1 in atherosclerotic plaques —tampere vascular study
ATHEROSCLEROSIS(2018)
摘要
Aim: Formyl peptide receptors (FPRs) mediate a variety of inflammatory signals reacting to several endo- and exogenous ligands. ANXA1, an endogenous ligand for FPRs, acts mainly through FPR2, but our understanding of FPRs’ role in atherosclerosis is limited. As atherosclerosis is characterized by an imbalance between pro- and anti-inflammatory processes, we aimed to evaluate the mRNA and protein expression of FPRs and ANXA1 in advanced atherosclerotic plaques.
