H∞ Control Design for an Interceptor with Blended Aerodynamic Surfaces and Direct Lateral Force

In this paper, an H ∞ control technique is introduced for the longitudinal model of an interceptor driven by aerodynamics surfaces and direct lateral force. Some appropriate weighting functions are selected in consideration of perturbation of the system parameters, an H ∞ controller is designed to stabilize the system with well performance. Then, the H ∞ control system is compared with system designed by classical control method, which indicates that the H ∞ control system holds better dynamics performance and robustness.
