L’après-cancer : entre prolongement et réinvention, quelles suites… ?

The after-cancer period mobilizes patients and aregivers but any chronology may raise disagreements. Emotional state, residual symptoms, and sometimes entourage make this long-awaited step a deadline that moves away when we are approaching. The model of “transitional phenomena” borrowed from psychoanalysis, shows the usefulness of maintaining close relationship between caregivers and patients treated for early breast cancer, in the way to define the principal aim of personalized care.
