摘要

•He was introduced into surface or bulk for damaged W and deuterium (D) retention behavior was evaluated by TDS.•The He irradiation near the surface region enhanced D trapping with lower energy and large D desorption was initiated.•He existence in bulk or surface will completely change the D trapping and diffusion behavior in damaged W.
