Exploring the optimal diagnostic threshold value of corneal nerve fibre length (CNFL) for diabetic neuropathy (DN) identification

Aim: A recent large cohort study identified a diagnostic threshold of CNFL to identify DN in which optimized sensitivity and specificity were considered simultaneously according to convention. We aimed to provide a confidence interval (CI) for this threshold and to provide an alternative clinical algorithm to the conventional approach.
