CT manifestation in postoperative of esophageal cancer

Objective: To evaluate the CT manifestation and application in the diagnosis of postoperative complication and recurrance of esophageal cancer.Methods: Forty-eight cases postoperative esophageal cancer were collected.All the cases had CT scanning and were proved by pathology,and the CT manifestations of them were analyzed.Results: Four cases of fistula of anastomotic stoma,and 1 case of stenosis of anastomotic stoma were found.There was recurrence in 22 cases of anastomotic stoma,3 cases of thoracic stomach,and with some having the surrounding tissue invasion,24 cases had lymph-node metastases and 6 cases had long-distance metastasis(including hepatic metastasis 3 cases,lung metastasis 2 cases).Conclution: CT can exactly display postoperative complication and recurrance of esophageal cancer,lymph-node metastases and long-distance metastasis.
