Abstract
•Silica-hydrogel photonic crystal microsphere (SHPCM) was designed and fabricated as suspension array carrier.•The optical characteristics and chemiluminescence immunoassay for multiplex mycotoxin of SHPCM were investigated.•SHPCM suspension array displays a wide dynamic detection linear range and lower background signal.•SHPCM suspension array can be used to high throughput and sensitive screening for multiplex mycotoxins in cereal samples.
