摘要
Background: Real-time three-dimensional (3D) echocardiography may be useful for the evaluation of left ventricular (LV) and a left atrial (LA) volumes. Novel 3D transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) analysis software aims to rapidly estimate volumes using an adaptive analytics algorithm with knowledge-based identification of global shape and orientation followed by patient specific adaptation. Contours can be further edited manually. The utility of the automated software in patients with abnormal chamber morphology and the effect of contour adjustment has not been defined.
