Trajectories of Plasma sST2 by Different Metrics of Clinical Response After Left Ventricular Assist Device Placement
The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation(2018)
摘要
Clinical response to left ventricular assist device (LVAD) can be assessed using different metrics, including health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP). It is unknown how a novel biomarker, soluble suppressor of tumorigenicity 2 (sST2), changes in relation to these two different metrics of clinical response after LVAD. The purpose of this study was to examine trajectories of plasma sST2 between responders and non-responders to LVAD using both HRQOL and NT-proBNP metrics of clinical response.
