THIRTY MINUTES OF EXERCISE PER WEEK CAN REDUCE CARDIOVASCULAR RISK ON MORBID OBESITY
Arquivos Brasileiros De Endocrinologia E Metabologia(2011)
摘要
Objective: To evaluate the impact of a minimum program of physical exercise on functional capacity and cardiovascular risk factors (CRF) morbidly obese. Material and Methods: In a cohort study of non-controlled intervention, we evaluated a program of aerobic exercise with a weekly volume of 30 minutes by 6 months, through the variations obtained from changes in weight, physical performance and CRF. Results: We studied 61 subjects, 34 (55.7%) adhered to the intervention. On this patients, there were significant changes in weight (-5.3 ± 5.3 kg, p <0.0001), distance in the 6-minute walking test (69.8 ± 48.6 m, p <0.0001) , systolic pressure (-23.8 ± 27.7 mmHg, p <0.0001), diastolic pressure (-14.4 ± 8.9 mmHg, p <0.0001) and Framinghan Score Risk (-4.4 ± 5.1 p <0.0001). Conclusion: The results showed that an exercise program of low intensity and frequency can interfere positively on CRF in individuals with morbid obesity.
