A three dimensional finite element method analysis and winding function theory for torque ripple reducing in reluctance machine

摘要
The aim of this study is to overcome the major drawback of the synchro-reluctance machine which is torque ripple. The goal of proposed work is to find the better combination between stator coil winding (winding chording), rotor type (topology) and the feeding alimentation power. This study has been divided into three parts; in the first one we use the winding function theory and the finite elements method (two and three dimensional) to calculate the torque variation with current alimentation. In the second parte we use three phases inverter as a power source for the machine, then the selection of the best method to improve the torque variation is justified. In the last parte the simulation results are presented and show the effectiveness of the proposed method and these results are compared to experimental results.
