摘要
We read with interest the comment by L.C. Jacobs and T. Nijsten regarding the Genome–Wide Association Study (GWAS) we published in June 2016. In the first part of their comment, the authors try to replicate in the Rotterdam Study (RS) the two signals passing the 0.25 False Discovery Rate threshold unraveled by our study, in the second part they emphasize the need for replication of GWAS results. We fully appreciate the second part of their comment since this is exactly what is claimed in the discussion of our own paper. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
