Rheology and mixing analysis of plant cell cultures (Azadirachta indica, Borojoa patinoi and Thevetia peruviana) in shake flasks

⿢Morphology, rheology and mixing of three plant species were studied in shake flasks.⿢A dilatant and pseudoplastic behavior associated with morphology was observed.⿢Apparent viscosity and P/V increased as cell concentration increased.⿢A model was used to analyze and predict mixing of plant cell culture in shake flask.⿢Flasks of 250ml and 5cm of shaker orbit diameter could ensure in phase conditions.
