Very little is known about weight loss outcomes in older patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. This study was designed to compare excess weight loss in patients 65 years of age and older undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB).
