摘要
Myeloma bone disease (MBD) is known to be activated by three separate signalling pathways – receptor activator of nuclear factor B/osteoprotegerin pathway (RANK/OPG), macrophage inflammatory factor pathway (MIP) and Wnt pathway. Except of these, several other factors have been described in relationship to MBD development. Our aim was to compare selected parameters of MBD to the parameters of bone metabolism in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS).
