Risk factors for Mycoplasma bovis-associated disease in farmed bison (Bison bison) herds in western Canada: A case-control study.

•A majority of herds affected by M. bovis had introduced new bison into the herd.•Median case fatality risk was 100%; few animals recovered.•Feedlots, transport vehicles, vaccination and respiratory deaths were risk factors.
