摘要

•Ketoprofen-loaded pomegranate seed oil nanoemulsions were prepared using an easy and low cost method.•Formulations showed adequate physicochemical characteristics and impoved ketoprofen’s photostability.•Nanoemulsions presented high antinociceptive effect by two different models of pain.•Nanoemulsions revealed no acute toxicity.
