Impact of atrial fibrillation in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement: Insights of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project's National Inpatient Sample.

•In a large retrospective analysis of 293 with chronic kidney disease stage 3–4 or end stage renal disease on dialysis replacement therapy (stage 5) undergoing TAVR, the presence of atrial fibrillation did not seem to be associated with an increased rate of adverse in-hospital events, stroke or length of stay.
