Microwave Dielectric Properties of BaSrLaTiO Ceramic with LaO-BO-TiO Doping

The effects of LaO-BO-TiO (LBT) glass addition on the phase composition, microstructure, and microwave dielectric properties of BaSrLaTiO (BSLT) ceramic were investigated in this study. X-ray diffraction results showed that a small amount of SrLaBO secondary phase was formed in the LBT-doped BSLT ceramics. Scanning electron microscopy indicated that addition of LBT glass restrained grain growth of the main phase. Samples doped with LBT showed strong promotion of both and  ×  values. Typically, the LBT (LaO:BO:TiO = 1:0.5:0.5)-doped BaSrLaTiO ceramic sintered at 1550°C for 3 h in air exhibited good microwave dielectric properties of  = 50.7,  ×  = 72,700 GHz, and  = −7.3 ppm/°C.
