Magnetotransport and Power-Law I–V Curves of the Layered Quasi One-Dimensional Compound TiS3
Physica B, Condensed matter(2015)
Abstract
The current–voltage characteristics, Hall effect and magnetoresistance of TiS3 single crystal whiskers have been studied experimentally. Below 60K the I–V curves are non-linear along all crystallographic directions and exhibit a power law behavior. The Hall voltage shows a pronounced maximum at around 60K. The results indicate a change of the conductivity mechanism at low temperatures. Possible explanations of the observed effects are discussed.
