Gasification of agricultural residues in a demonstrative plant: Vine pruning and rice husks

•Experimental gasification tests are carried out with two biomass residues.•The gasifier is a downdraft reactor at a demonstrative scale (350kWth).•Syngas composition, pressure drops, material and energy balances are provided.•Plant operability and performance indexes are compared with previous results.•A reactor diagram is defined considering density, size and shape of feedstocks.
