Data Analysis Of Xue Long In Westerlies Based On Wave Spectrum Model And Data Mining

A modern ship's large-amplitude rolling motions caused by wind and ocean waves represent a considerable threat to goods and life in today's ocean navigation, especially in the Westerlies which are famous for their long-term strong winds. To evaluate the ship's rolling motions and find the safest sailing route for Antarctic research, in this paper an ocean wave model was provided according to the P-M spectrum. The authors classified and analyzed historical data based on the given model by means of data mining, and presented the final route on the web polar spatial information platform.
