Abstract

During its first year of operation, the INTEGRAL observatory performed a deep survey of the galactic central radian. In this analysis, we used SPI/INTEGRAL data obtained during the core program to build and analyze images of the Galactic Center region. We present the first catalog of hard X-ray sources detected with SPI/INTEGRAL. In total more than 74 sources have been detected with a significance above 7 sigma. This study is also relevant to the estimation of the total point source component of the emission from the Galactic Center.
