摘要

•We examined 40 children to clarify the clinical and radiological spectrum of PRES.•29 patients had ADC map in the acute period and 13 had lower ADC.•26 patients with follow-up MRI, 13 had focal gliosis or cortical atrophy.•No patients had motor impairment, and four patients had focal epilepsy.•Low ADC in the acute period was prognostic for focal gliosis or atrophy.
